Features of stainless steel 310:
High temperature resistance:
310 stainless steel is known for its excellent high temperature
resistance. Withstands temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F) in
continuous operation and up to 1230°C (2250°F) in intermittent
operation.

This grade of stainless steel exhibits excellent corrosion
resistance, especially in mildly corrosive environments. It resists
oxidation and scaling, making it suitable for applications
involving high temperatures.

ASME SA182 SS 310 flanges can generally be easily cold formed using standard methods and equipment. UNS S31000 flanges have machining properties comparable to Type 304 flanges.
