Hot forming and Heat treatment

Flattening Test

Test Methods - Each test sample shall be inspected in accordance with Test Method B968/B968M.
During inspection, the flattened area of the test specimen shall be free of defects, but imperfections that do not affect the intended application are acceptable. Tubing is not subjected to flattening tests.

Residual Stress Test

Residual stress testing as specified in the purchase order is required only for copper alloys with UNS No. C68700 that are not supplied in the annealed condition.
